REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of workplace experience designing and developing Java applications.
- Experience with Android/Linux app development using Java and Eclipse
- Design, implement and integrate software libraries, GUI modules and other such components to control telecommunications equipment with extreme attention to detail, quality and robustness.
- Development platforms include Linux and Android. The Java Developer will discuss and update software requirements, specifications, write and review software design documents and test documents and will participate in code reviews.
- An understanding of the creation and implementation of software libraries, memory management techniques, multitasking, exporting/importing, and similar disciplines is expected. Proficient knowledge of GUI design is required for both the designing and debugging of code.
- Must possess strong communications skills, a "can-do" positive attitude, a compulsive respect for deadlines, a creative imagination, and an ability to adjust to the fast changing requirement environment. It is expected that the candidate will keep current with new software technologies.
- Proficiency with software design methodologies (OOD, OOP), Java, JNI, Visual
- An active US government security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
