Job Description:- Mobile application developer/support intern
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual will work with external and internal development teams and integrators.
Be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, debug, deliver, and enhance applications.
Create and review documentation.
Work with the user community in demonstrating, deploying, and supporting application capabilities.
Provide programming and application development as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Experience with iPhone OS and iPhone SDK
* Experience working as a Mobile Application Developer and support engineer
* Objective-C, C, C++, Java
* HTML, iPad layouts, Android layouts, image optimization
* Network & socket programming, multi-threading, and concurrency
* Linux or Unix experience
* Advanced CSS functionality & techniques
* XML (parsing/querying) /XML DOM
* Knowledge of Android SDK
* Intimate working knowledge of web browsers, behaviors and rendering challenges
* Familiarity with multiple platforms (iPhone, Android, Windows, Blackberry, etc.)
* Experience with Roambi or similar mobile enterprise products
* Enterprise systems integration
* System administration
* Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of relational databases and query optimization
* Knowledge of and experience with source/version control systems. Perforce preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience developing and supporting mobile applications
* Excellent analytical/problem solving skills, ability to think creatively and solve complex technical problems
* Must be enrolled in school towards a degree during the internship
