If you are a Software Engineer with Ruby on Rails experience, please read on!

What you need for this position:

- Ruby on Rails development experience
- Linux/Fedora development environment experience
- MySQL - schema design, indexes, partitioning, stored procedures, events, database optimization and tweaking (performance monitoring, cache values, RAID layouts, bottlenecks
- High transaction, high availability environments (realtime replication, clustering)

It is a plus if you have any experience with:

- .NET and/or PHP
- GIS/Spatial extensions
- PostgresSQL



What you'll be doing:

- Developing, maintaining, and scaling MySQL databases
- Creating reports
- Enhancements to improve automation and efficiency
