Senior Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails - USA

We are seeking a senior-level Software Engineer to work with outstanding technologists to design and develop the next generation of web-based user interfaces for several different projects. One such project is a base-end system that ingests data from multiple sources over a satellite network, integrates it into a single system for analysis by users, and provides command and control functionality for the source devices.

Professional web application development with Ruby on Rails on a production system.
* At least 4 years of professional web application development in any language.
* Database design and SQL experience. You need to have a good understanding of how ActiveRecord works in Rails.
* Front end design experience with HTML and CSS.
* Experience with Javascript and the Prototype and Scriptaculous libraries.
* Experience writing unit and functional tests in Rails.
* Experience developing in a Linux/Unix environment.
Here's what our ideal candidate would have in addition to the above:
* B.S. Degree in computer science, engineering, or other related field.
* Experience leading development of Ruby on Rails web applications in a team environment.
* Experience with MySQL.
* An active US government security clearance.

• Two or more years of professional Ruby on Rails experience.
• Experience with MySQL.
• An active TS clearance.
