At TST Media we bring professional web design and development to the amateur sports world through our NGIN (www.ngin.com) platform. Our website solutions are some of the most comprehensive and empowering sport specific website systems available.
A successful internship candidate will thrive in an open, relaxed, creative atmosphere and work with a team of other extremely talented individuals in a fantastic loft-style office space (13 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, brick and timber finish, and tons of windows).

Internships typically run for 12 weeks. We are flexible on start dates.

Intern Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of core application
• Coding of additional features and enhancements using test-driven development methods
• Assist in QA of new product releases and bug fixes of the core application
• Assist application support team with troubleshooting and resolving support issues

Required Skills:

• Experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, .Net or PHP
• A passion for programming. Programming is your hobby
• Knowledge of relational database design and SQL
• Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and HTML
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (SVN, Git, CVS)
• Familiarity with agile development techniques including test-driven development and priority-based planning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Pursuing a bachelors degree or higher with a concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent area
