JAVA DEVELOPER
* Hands on design and development of a suite of Java J2EE based applications that utilize EJB technology
* Provide translation of business requirements into object oriented systems design.
* Document implementation based on standards set by department
* Establish or update standards as required by departmental needs
TESTING
* Responsible for overall quality of assigned software applications and projects
* Demonstrate that software and projects meet business requirements based on standards set by department
* Demonstrate that software and projects meet quality requirements based on standards set by department
MAINTENANCE
* Responsible for ongoing maintenance of assigned and unassigned applications and projects
* Enhance applications based on new/changing business requirements
* Report, research, correct, and test defects in applications
Qualifications
* BS or BA degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
* 5+ years software engineering in object-oriented programming development
* 5+ years developing production code for complex, enterprise-wide applications
* 5+ years Java/J2EE/Servlets with object-oriented design methodologies and patterns, preferably using BEA Weblogic Experience
* 5+ years writing complex SQL/T-SQL, preferably using Microsoft SQL Server
