As DailyBurn continues to grow its presence in the mobile fitness category, we are looking to bring on a full-time Android developer.
If chosen, you will join a world-class team of iOS and Ruby on Rails developers at one of the hottest growth companies in NYC. As part of our mobile team, you will build many apps per year as we try to get on a co-release cycle for our new apps (release on iPhone and Android at the same time).
We need you to be our lead Android developer, so only exceptional candidates need apply. We have seen a myriad of people claim to be Android developers and produce shoddy products. We only want the best, so please be prepared to show us your portfolio of apps. We also expect you to bring knowledge of the marketplace to help guide our Android strategy.
Things we are looking for:

• A solid portfolio of Android apps showing development proficiency
• A keen eye for Android app design...we have a high standard for design
• Strong working knowledge of the Android SDK
• Experience developing for and supporting apps on a wide variety of Android devices
• Experience integrating with REST based web servicesWeb development experience is a bonus
• A desire to push the limits of what Android can do
