Requirements: SAIC is seeking an Intern Software Developer to join our team in McLean, VA.
The Software Developer/Intern will be a member of a software IR&D team developing potential biometric solutions for the DoD, DHS, law enforcement, and other federal, state or local government agencies.
The Software Developer/Intern will receive predetermined work assignments with specific instructions to perform tasks requiring knowledge of software applications, coding and design functions, to include software analysis, design, testing, documentation, and other project support as required.
Education/Experience:
Currently pursuing a BS in CS, EE or other Scientific or Engineering major while maintaining a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Candidate must have experience in software programming, classroom programming experience acceptable.
Development experience (classroom experience is acceptable) with .NET/C# or iOS or Android is required. Recent hands-on development work with ASP.NET, MS SQL Server 2005/2008, XML Web Services, and IIS 7.x are a plus but not required. Biometrics systems development experience is also a plus but not required.
